Supermotard

Haan Wheels has been one of the leading company's that started building supermoto wheels. Since we are building supermoto wheels for almost 15 years we have seen all different rider styles and conditions off race tracks and streets to provide the perfect wheel. Not only great riders like Jeff Ward and Doug Henry are having a lot of fun on race tracks but also a lot off people on the streets!

Supermoto wheels are produced for almost every popular bike. Riding and racing with our ultra strong spokes, hubs and rims means that you have the best and strongest wheel available and that means best results and great safety.

Wheels we produce for anyone are 100% the same as the world's best racers are riding with. Haan Wheels has sponsored Team Troy Lee Designs with Jeff Ward and Doug Henry for several years. In 2004 we captured the AMA supermoto title!

Spokes and rims
All Haan Wheels are build with the strongest spokes available. The spokes are made from stainless steel and are produced for Haan Wheels exclusive. You can see this on the head of the spokes where you can find the mark “H”. This spokes are the identical spokes as used in MX wheels. Due the fact that the spokes are made out of stainless you can be sure that they stay nice and shiny under all conditions. On the spokes we use steel nipples to prevent that spokes come loose with riding like you will have with alloy nipples. These nipples have a special coating to prevent corrosion. Supermoto wheels are spokes with a special spoke pattern to create maximum stability in the wheel and more space for the brake calliper.

Wheels are laced up with the strongest rim on the planet, the legendary Excel rim from Japan. The RK Excel factory is a long time rim producer and have great experience in producing a perfect rim. Made of 7000 series alloy this rims are available in several different sizes and colours. This rims sizes are available:

Hubs
Our hubs are manufactured with the latest CNC technology, and are fully produced in the Netherlands. The production process is fully automatic, hubs are loaded with a robot to the machines. These hubs are CNC machined from solid 6082 alloy. For example a rear hub is machined from a solid block alloy that weighs almost 12 kilos going into the machine. Every little piece is machined out to create one of the strongest and lightest hub in the market. Hubs are assembled with Koyo bearings and hard alloy spacers. Hubs are available in various colours.

Some features of Haan Wheels supermoto wheels:

• Hubs are made of billet 6082 aluminium and all precision CNC machined.
• Standard brake discs and sprockets can be used on all of our hubs.
• Hubs run oversized KOYO bearings, no special dimensions but sizes available world wide.
• Most rear hubs have 3 bearings instead of 2 like some OEM hubs
• The inner spacer tube between the bearings is made of 7075 billet aluminium.
• The outer hub spacers are made of 7075 billet aluminium and have undergone a special hardening coating.
• Seals are double working seals.
• All our supermoto wheels are build with 36 spokes and have a special spoke pattern to create maximum stability, strength and space for the brake caliper
• We use extra thick and super strong stainless steel spokes. This spokes are the strongest on the planet.
• Wheels are assembled with steel nipples to prevent spokes coming loose
• Nipples have a special coating to prevent corrosion
• Used rims are Excel rims from Japan and known as the best quality rim available.
• All wheels are hand assembled by specialists in wheelbuilding
• Spare parts like spokes, bearings and spacers are available.
